Two devastating earthquakes have struck Venezuela, shattering entire communities and triggering an urgent humanitarian crisis requiring immediate food relief assistance.
Buildings have collapsed across affected regions. Families have lost their homes and possessions. Thousands of people are injured, displaced, searching for loved ones, or struggling to find food and clean drinking water—creating urgent humanitarian needs that emergency relief organizations are working to address.
Food Yoga International, a plant-based food relief organization, has a dedicated team of volunteers on the ground in Venezuela, beginning emergency food relief immediately. Many of these volunteers are monks who have devoted their lives to compassionate service and humanitarian work.
Volunteers are already serving freshly prepared vegan meals directly to earthquake survivors in Venezuela—but they urgently need your help to continue and expand meal distribution to more affected communities.
Our Goal: 10,000 Emergency Meals
At approximately $1 per meal, every donation can make an immediate difference:
$10 provides 10 meals
$25 provides 25 meals
$50 provides 50 meals
$100 provides 100 meals
$500 provides 500 meals
$1,000 provides 1,000 meals
Our volunteers will prepare nourishing vegan vegetable and rice stew, accompanied by fresh fruit and clean drinking water—addressing both hunger and the critical water shortage affecting earthquake survivors.
Meals will be delivered directly to affected communities throughout Venezuela, including families who have lost their homes, displaced persons, and people waiting for assistance near damaged neighborhoods and emergency shelters set up by relief organizations.
Funds raised will help purchase:
- Rice, vegetables, legumes, herbs, and cooking ingredients
- Fresh fruit and drinking water
- Cooking fuel and essential kitchen supplies
- Food containers and serving materials
- Transportation to reach affected communities
Our Team Is Ready to Serve Now

This is not a future proposal—this is an active, ongoing Venezuela earthquake relief operation. Our volunteers are mobilizing now and are prepared to begin feeding survivors immediately, with meal distribution already underway in affected areas.
With sufficient support, the team has the capacity to prepare and distribute thousands of meals each day. The faster funds arrive, the faster food can reach families facing hunger, loss, and uncertainty.
For more than 30 years, Food Yoga International has supported plant-based food relief and compassionate service around the world.
Our mission is simple: to provide freshly prepared, nourishing food with dignity and kindness without discrimination.
This emergency response is being coordinated by Guru Prasada Swami and Food Yoga International’s volunteer team in Venezuela.

Our team is currently focused on reaching survivors as quickly as possible. Photographs and firsthand reports will be added as soon as they become available.
