Director Of FFL Vraja Receives The EspiCom Group’s Outstanding Filipino Luminary Award 2021 for Private Citizens

Mr. Pio P Baquiran, the Director of Vraja Food For Life in the Philippines, was recently a recipient of The EspiCom Group’s Outstanding Filipino Luminary Awards 2021 for Private Citizens. 


Pio was the coordinator for Food For Life Philippines from 1987 to 2010 until he was appointed as Director for Vraja Food For Life in 2011 up-to date.  They have served hundreds of thousands of plates during major calamities like 1990 Baguio Earthquake, 1991 Mt. Pinatubo Eruption, 2009 Ondoy Metro Manila Flood, 2017 Marawi Siege, 2020 Taal Eruption, 2020 Guinobatan, Bicol Typhoon and last year also during the height of 2020 Pandemic from April-August they served Fresh Hot Healthy Plant Based Meal for Major Hospital Front liners to name a few.


Part of his mission is to not only address hunger but also to inspire them to get through life’s challenges through spiritual practice, positivity and warm brotherhood. All of us here at Food For Life Global want to congratulate Mr. Pio P Baquiran on his recent award and applaud him for his outstanding work at the organization.
