New Year Gifts for Poor Children

Food for Life Vrindavan

Every year Food for Life Global affiliate, Sandipani Muni School in Vrindavan, India, distributes thousands of gifts to poor children. The gift packages include essential items like toothbrushes and towels, as well as toys and prasadam snacks to make the new year a happy occasion for all the children. In 2010, with the help of generous donors, Food for Life Vrindavan gave out 4,500 gifts, but there were still some needy children who missed out.
This year they are starting their campaign early with a goal to give out even more gifts. Please support this important program so that Food for Life Vrindavan can organize something bigger and better for the children in 2011. Each gift package costs $6 but includes a new school bag, pencil box, toothbrush, toothpaste, a toy or ball, prasadam snacks, and a woolly hat for the coming winter. Please buy a gift pack for a needy child and help us start their new year with a big smile!
