Ilan Chester, Food for Life Global Ambassador will meet with the Minister for Slovenians, Mr. Peter Jožef Česnik, at noon on Monday. Together, they will support and present the humanitarian action, “Let’s Help Venezuela.” see: https://ffl.org/14622/food-for-life-venezuela-making-a-difference/
In the afternoon he will meet with Indian businessmen and support the Slovenian School in India, Food for Life Nandagoam (Vrindavana, New Delhi). He will hand over a donation to the school principal.
In the evening, he and the volunteers of the Food for Life charity will distribute warm dinners in Šiška and give the award for the best volunteers of 2018/2019.
The following day, Chester, will meet President of the Republic of India, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind and then on Wednesday, he will have an evening charity concert for Food for Life Venezuela at KUD France Prešeren.
“As an artist, I always felt the need to do more than just entertain. Once you get the attention of many eyes and ears, it is an act of violence not to assume higher responsibilities. People everywhere are suffering and the ecology of the modern human heart, contaminated by greed is gradually destroying life on earth.

When I congratulated her for her lifetime service to try to eradicate hunger in the world, she firmly looked at me and said what she already had repeated several times in the past: “ Real hunger is to be found, not in stomach but in the heart”.
