Looking ahead with gratitude during a critical season for FYI.

As Thanksgiving arrives, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the people, partners, and supporters who have kept Food Yoga International moving forward during one of the most challenging years in our organization’s history.

Across our global network, FYI affiliates continue to serve plant-based meals in communities experiencing food insecurity, displacement, and instability. Their dedication has remained steady, even as resources have not. Like many nonprofits, FYI has faced sharp drops in funding and heightened operational pressures, making every step of our work more difficult to sustain.

Yet despite the obstacles, our team and affiliates never stopped showing up — and that resilience is possible because people continue to believe in the importance of vegan food relief. Today, we honor that collective effort with gratitude.

Looking Ahead to Giving Tuesday — December 2

Giving Tuesday is just days away — a moment when people around the world unite to support the causes that matter most to them.

For FYI, this day provides essential support that strengthens our ability to:

– Equip affiliates with plant-based food and supplies for ongoing meal distribution

– Sustain vegan hunger-relief initiatives in high-need regions

– Support educational programs that advance our food philosophy

– Maintain long-term impact across our global network

Every contribution, at any level, plays a role in keeping this work moving.

A Note on Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary

One of FYI’s long-standing affiliates, Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary, has faced an especially difficult year. The sanctuary cares for more than 200 rescued animals — many of them seniors requiring ongoing medical support. Rising costs and declining donations have placed unprecedented strain on daily operations.

Despite this, Juliana and Paul continue working from early morning into the night to ensure every animal receives the care they deserve. The sanctuary has launched an urgent campaign to stabilize operations and maintain food, medicine, and essential care.

Thanksgiving Gratitude from FYI

Thanksgiving is a reminder that meaningful impact is never the work of one person or one organization — it’s a shared effort built by many. FYI exists because people across the world choose to care, give, and engage with our mission of plant-based food relief.

To everyone who has helped us continue this work — donors, volunteers, partners, and supporters — thank you. Your presence in this community means more than ever, especially in a year defined by both hardship and perseverance.

From all of us at Food Yoga International, Thank you — today and every day.

Support FYI’s Global Plant-Based Food Relief

If you’re able to give this season, your support helps sustain affiliates, expand food relief efforts, and keep plant-based meals reaching the communities that need them most.
