Join Us for National Vegan Day Celebrations

What is National Vegan Day?

National Vegan Day, also known as World Vegan Day, is celebrated on November 1st every year by millions of people across the globe, marking the beginning of World Vegan Month. This day celebrates plant-based living and encourages people to examine how our food choices impact climate change, animal welfare, and global food security. National Vegan Day raises awareness about the environmental benefits of plant-based diets, including reduced greenhouse gas emissions, lower water usage, and decreased deforestation compared to animal agriculture. National Vegan Day encourages people to explore plant-based nutrition and discover the health benefits of vegan foods, including lower risks of heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers. It’s also an opportunity for newcomers to try plant-based restaurants, sample vegan recipes, or participate in local plant-based community events and cooking demonstrations.
