If we are going to build a better food system then it is vital that we start thinking about food issues in a more connected way. Food – how we grow it, how we process it and how we consume it – links into a staggering array of issues on an individual, but also global scale.
If you are new to the topic of food and sustainability, this series of simple fact sheets which show how a sustainable food system can help improve so many aspects of our life and how, if we move beyond the limited thinking of GMOs and other forms of industrial agriculture as a ‘solution’, and towards agroecological systems we can feed ourselves well and make a the world a better place to live as well.
