Haiti Earthquake 2010

Food for Life Global (FFLG), headquarters for the world’s largest vegan food relief, served tens of thousands of hot vegan meals to needy Haitians after the devastating earthquake struck the region.

Project Manager, Bruce Webster said, “The Haitians were so appreciative of our hot vegan meals and the children would often come out dancing from their tents to greet us. It was so touching.” International Director, Paul Turner praised the team in Haiti, “They have done a tremendous job and we are all very proud of them.

Nearly 100,000 meals were served.” In 2013, as a follow-up to this effort, Food for Life Global established a kitchen in partnership with the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and IRD (International Relief and Development) to feed children at one of the schools.
